Overview

Nando’s set out to create abold, on-brand pop-up restaurant designed to engage students in a high-foot fall campus location. The space had to feel unmistakably Nando’s—fun, vibrant, and on-message—while being delivered within tight logistical parameters.

Objectives

Create an immersive, on-brand pop-up experience for a student audience.
Maximise brand visibility and engagement by strategically utilising the space.
Ensure smooth technical and logistical delivery through thorough site surveys.
Foster seamless creative collaboration with Nando’s in-house team to translate design concepts.

Our Approach

1. Strategic Branding Scoping

We conducted an in-depth scoping session to identify all potential brand able areas across the temporary restaurant site.
As part of this process, we evaluated signage opportunities, customer journey flow, and visual hotspots to maximise impact.

2. Technical Site Visit

We performed a technical survey to obtain accurate measurements and assess surfaces, lighting, and installation conditions. During this stage, we also identified key friction points and proposed solutions early in the process.

3. Creative Collaboration

We worked closely with the Nando’s in-house creative team to bring design concepts to life. Our team provided guidance on material choices, visibility, and feasibility to ensure ideas translated effectively into the real-world environment.

4. Print Production & On-Site Installation

We managed high-quality print production across all surfaces, including menus, murals, vinyls, and standees. Finally, we delivered on-site installation, ensuring all elements were aligned, secure, and visually on-brand ahead of launch.

Outcome

The activation was delivered on time and on budget, transforming the space into a fully functional and visually striking brand environment. Feedback from the client and attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with particular praise for the seamless setup, space utilisation, and cohesive branding throughout the event footprint.
